Henderson Miniature Motor Racing Club Inc. Auckland

The Henderson Miniature Motor Racing Club was formed in 1962 in the heyday of Slot Car racing. The first clubrooms were an old barn in a suburb of Swanson in Auckland. In 1964 the Club became an Incorporated Society.
The Club currently has a 4 lane, 39 meter circuit racing track with computer lap counting/timing system and a drag racing strip that runs the length of the clubrooms. Racing is held with scale drag cars in several classes.
There are Club nights with Handicap and Grade racing and Trophy nights with points going towards the club championship. If you wish to obtain more information about Slot Car racing in Auckland or wish to try your hand at Slot Cars you are welcome to contact the Henderson Miniature Motor Racing Club, checkout our website or just turn up on one of ourclub nights and have a go. Club cars and controllers are available for people to try Slot Car racing for themselves.
